This award winning range of KB blocks is lightweight and versatile. Designed specifically to be used with lashings the same block can be used in multiple different configurations and reduces weight to approx 50% compared to a traditional block, plus connection, for the same working load. With the primary attachment through the centre of the block this is also extremely safe as the running line will be retained within the lashing even if the block should fail. The KBc high load blocks have aluminium cheeks and self-lubricating plain bearings which are ideal for applications when the line is required to run under very high load for only a short distance e.g. a backstay, cunningham, boom vang or outhaul.
