Using a carbon fibre A-frame with a UV-resistant, clear polyurethane finish, Trogear adjustable bowsprits are lightweight, strong and easy to use. The Trogear’s solid, triangular design offers the best weight-to-strength ratio on the market, is easy to install and can be removed if necessary. Uniquely designed with a hinged installation and adjustable bobstay, it can be placed upright to attach sails or stow at the dock. The luff tension of the sail is adjustable from the cockpit via a control line. The AS50 is an ideal retrofit solution for your sailboat and facilitates flying asymmetrical spinnakers and Code 0s. It is suitable for racers and heavier boats up to 50 feet, with maximum 204M2 asymmetric sail and 165M2 Code 0. The inside width at the hinge is 327mm and the hinge diameter is 25.4mm. Mounting options include: - Through hull - Catamaran mounting brackets This product includes the parts needed for through hull installation: - Titanium hinge shaft - Stainless steel marine grade quick release pins - G10 fibreglass hinge tube Bobstay rigging parts are not included. Note that the given working load is the maximum load created by the bobstay on the bowsprit at the attachment point of the bobstay to the bowsprit. This product comes with a 3 year warranty.
