Key features include a lashing eye, in line with the modern trend of using soft attachments for halyards, offering a lightweight, flexible, and versatile rigging solution. For added adaptability, the lashing eye can be replaced with a 2:1 block, accommodating a variety of sail configurations. The swivel also features a captive fast pin, delivering ergonomic operation, increased reliability, and simplified maintenance compared to earlier versions.
This aluminium swivel is a standard component of the Standard (KF) and Racing (KFR) ranges in the KF V3 series, known for their lightweight strength and consistent performance. For applications requiring greater load-bearing capacity or a polished aesthetic, the stainless steel swivel—featured in the Classic (KFC) and Structural (KFX) ranges—is available as a separate product.
