The Morf Block is a complete block that is comprised of four components: the cheeks, the bearing, the lash thimble (the sheave) and the Dyneema® loop. There are two ranges, the High Load range and the High Performance range. The distinguishable feature of each product is the material of the plain bearing. The High Load range has been optimised for stronger loads at a lower speed; best suited for semi-static lines (such as halyards and runners), the block benefits from a 25% increase in SWL in comparison to the High Performance range. Alternatively, the High Performance range utilises a bearing material that has 35% lower coefficient of friction, achieving double the RPM of the High Load block and running faster at lower loads. The High Performance block is thus suited for dynamic lines in constant movement, such as control lines and sheets.
