The Clamcleat CL826 Aero Base with CL211 Mk2 Aluminium Rope Cleat is a strong, compact, and fully adjustable mid-line cleat assembly designed for reliable rope control where fixed mounting isn’t possible. Rigged directly onto a rope, it provides a secure grip that can be easily repositioned by hand — no tools required.
Manufactured from high-quality aluminium, the CL826-11 combines the proven CL211 Mk2 cleat with Clamcleat’s innovative Aero base, offering lightweight strength and exceptional durability. It’s ideal for 4–6mm ropes and suited to a variety of tensioning or control applications aboard boats and in performance kitesurfing setups.
In marine use, it’s well suited for sail and control lines on dinghies and small yachts, while in kitesurfing, it is commonly used on brake lines (with 6mm rope). For this application, Clamcleat recommends fitting a PT524 stopper ball to absorb shock between the cleat and bar if the bar is released suddenly in heavy conditions.
Available in two finishes:
- CL826-11 – Fitted with the CL211 Mk2 cleat in a silver stove-enamel finish.
- CL826-11AN – Fitted with the CL211 Mk2AN cleat in a hard-anodised finish for maximum wear resistance.
