Clamcleat CL211 Mk1 Racing Junior Aluminium Rope Cleat for 3–6mm Lines
The Clamcleat CL211 Mk1 Racing Junior Aluminium Rope Cleat is a strong, reliable, and widely used cleat for small boat and control line applications. Made from marine-grade aluminium, it combines light weight with high strength, while its fairlead guides the rope smoothly into the teeth for a fast and positive lock that releases easily under control.
The specially contoured base allows the CL211 Mk1 to be mounted on both curved and flat surfaces, making it ideal for sailboats, racing dinghies, spars, kayaks, and even sun sails.
Two finishes are available:
- CL211 Mk1 – Silver stove-enamel finish for an attractive, cost-effective coating.
- CL211 Mk1AN – Hard-anodised finish providing a tough, wear-resistant surface.
Popular for its versatility, the CL211 Mk1 is compatible with a wide range of accessories and variations:
- CL203 – Nylon version of the CL211 Mk1.
- CL211 Mk2 – Slightly smaller alloy variant.
- CL814 Keeper – Keeps the rope in or out of the cleat as required.
- CL818 Tapered Pad – Aids rope alignment when mounting.
- PT422/23 Insulators – Prevent galvanic corrosion when mounting on carbon spars (especially effective with hard-anodised cleats).
- CL704 – Adds a becket fitting for rope terminations.
- CL217 Mk1 / CL218 Mk1 – Versions with side-entry fairleads (right/left).
- CL230 – Features a bottom roller for rope entry from below.
