Antal U-Bolt – 8mm
The Antal U-Bolt – 8mm is a practical and affordable deck fitting for smaller yacht applications. Built from 316 stainless steel, it combines corrosion resistance with reliable strength. With a Safe Working Load (SWL) of 1,500 kg, it is suited to medium-load attachments, including blocks, lashings, and tie-downs.
Using just two fixing bolts, the U-Bolt is simple and economical to install. By comparison, Antal’s Standard Padeyes at this gauge step up to four fixing bolts, ensuring better load distribution across the deck structure. For this reason, U-Bolts should be reserved for situations where loads are moderate and budget or simplicity are the main drivers.
