The HELLA NaviLED Compact Starboard Navigation Light is a compact, high-quality LED navigation light designed for dependable performance on sailing yachts and small craft. Providing 2 nautical mile visibility and fully compliant with international COLREG requirements, it is a reliable and energy-efficient replacement for traditional bulb navigation lights.
The NaviLED Compact range uses advanced LED technology to deliver consistent brightness while consuming only a fraction of the power required by conventional incandescent lights. The fully sealed housing eliminates the need for bulb replacements and protects the internal electronics from moisture, vibration and harsh marine conditions, ensuring long service life with minimal maintenance.
This version uses a coloured lens, producing the green starboard navigation light through a traditional lens design. This approach maintains the classic appearance many sailors expect, allowing the red and green navigation light colours to remain visible even when the lights are switched off.
HELLA also offers clear-lens versions, where the colour is generated directly by the LED rather than filtered through the lens. Both versions deliver the same certified 2NM visibility and sector performance, so the choice is primarily one of styling and availability. Coloured-lens models are typically the most widely stocked and are often easier to source than clear-lens variants.
The light is supplied with a 0.12m pre-wired cable for straightforward installation and is available with either a black or white shroud, allowing the unit to blend neatly with different deck or topside finishes.
