We ship to Germany, Europe, “Europe Plus” and many worldwide destinations using all leading international couriers.
Europe: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Holy See (Vatican City State), Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal mainland, Spain mainland and Balearic Islands.
Europe Plus: Andorra, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

Shipping Exceptions
While we aim to provide reliable delivery to all destinations, please note that certain regions may experience extended delivery times or incur higher shipping costs due to their location or logistical constraints. This includes (but is not limited to) Offshore European islands, South America, the Caribbean, Russia, Fiji and other remote or hard-to-reach areas. In some cases, shipments containing oversized, overlength, overweight are cost-prohibitive and may require special handling or quotation before dispatch. Delivery times provided at checkout are indicative only and may vary depending on customs clearance, local carrier availability, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Delivery times (from our warehouse in Germany)
- Mainland Europe Standard: 3-6 working days
- Mainland Europe Express: 1-3 working days
- European Islands Standard: 6-14 working days (e.g. Azores expect 14 days)
- Rest of world: 3–6 working days
Customs clearance (any order over 999 EUR outside of Europe) and remote locations may add 2–5 working days.
AT, Tax and Duty
Website prices include country specific VAT rates for all EU countries. For non‑EU deliveries, VAT is deducted at checkout and any applicable tax/duty is payable by you locally.Our courrier companies manage this import process and will request payment of tax/duty prior to delivery.
For UK deliveries we charge UK VAT (20%) at checkout. We handle the import into the UK and no additional import VAT is charged on delivery. In very rare circumstanes, import duty may apply based on the product country of origin.
Order processing & delivery date
We’ll immadately confirm your order by email. Then with-in 1-2 working dates we will provide an estimated ship date based on stock availability.
Returns and your Right of Withdrawal
If you buy as a private consumer, you may withdraw within 14 days of delivery. You must bear the cost of returning the goods if you withdraw; we will refund what you paid us, including the standard outbound delivery cost (not any express upgrade), within 14 days of your withdrawal (we may withhold refund until we receive the goods or you provide proof of sending). Shipping FAQs
When shipping to destinations outside the European Union, the recipient is responsible for all customs clearance, import duties, and local taxes. The amount of these charges varies depending on the destination country, as well as the type and value of the goods. Because each country has its own customs regulations, it is not possible to determine in advance exactly what fees will apply to a specific order.
Our shipping partners for non-EU deliveries normally handle customs clearance on your behalf. In such cases, any import duties or local taxes can simply be paid directly to the courier at the time of delivery. However, if the courier does not provide this service in your selected country, you will need to manage the import process yourself, often through a local customs agent. For detailed information, please contact your national customs authority.
If your order was delivered to an address within the EU, VAT was charged at the local rate for that country. However, if you later export the goods to a non-EU country, you may be eligible for a VAT refund — provided that the export can be properly documented.
To qualify, you must provide official proof of export — typically a customs-stamped export document confirming that the goods have left the EU. This could be:
- A customs export declaration or
- A commercial invoice stamped by EU customs when the goods are physically taken out of the EU.
Once you have this documentation, please email it to [Upffront’s contact email], along with your original invoice number. After verification, we will process a VAT refund to your original payment method.
Please note:
- The goods must be exported within three months of the original delivery date.
- The customs stamp must clearly reference the same invoice and product(s) supplied by Upffront.
- We cannot accept freight forwarder documents or delivery tracking as proof of export.
If you’re unsure how to obtain customs confirmation, contact your local customs office or your shipping agent before export.
No — if your delivery address is within the EU, VAT must be charged at the local rate for that country, even if your yacht is “in transit” and planning to leave the EU.
However, if the goods are subsequently exported outside the EU, you may be eligible for a VAT refund once you can provide official proof of export. This typically means THE ORIGINAL customs-stamped export document or invoice confirming that the goods have left the EU on board your yacht.
Once you have this documentation, please send it to [email protected] along with your invoice number, and we will process the VAT refund after verification.
Please note:
- VAT refunds are only possible after export and with valid customs proof.
- We cannot supply orders VAT-free for EU deliveries, even to yachts “in transit”.
