Upffront is a European sailing systems platform specialising in marine hardware, rigging systems and technical equipment for sailboats. 

Founded near Kiel, Germany's sailing capital and home of Kiel Week—the world's largest sailing event—Upffront was built around one idea: making specialist sailing systems easier to source through expert knowledge, carefully selected brands and a modern digital platform.

European Fulfilment, Built Around Choice

Unlike a traditional chandlery that holds a limited range of products in one warehouse, Upffront combines its own inventory with a network of specialist marine suppliers and warehouses across Europe. When all products in an order are supplied from a single partner warehouse, orders can often be dispatched the next working day and delivered quickly across Europe.

For more complex multi-brand orders, products may need to be sourced from several warehouses and consolidated before shipment, which can result in longer lead times. This is a deliberate strategy. Rather than limiting customers to the products we physically stock ourselves, we have intentionally built a multi-warehouse distribution model that gives access to significantly more products, brands and specialist components. 

We are deliberately making distribution more challenging for ourselves because we believe the long-term benefits are compelling:
