The HELLA NaviLED Compact Port Navigation Light is a robust and energy-efficient LED navigation light designed for sailing yachts and small craft. Delivering 2 nautical mile visibility and fully compliant with international COLREG requirements, it provides reliable deck-level navigation lighting in a compact and durable housing.
The NaviLED Compact series uses advanced LED technology to produce consistent brightness while consuming significantly less power than traditional incandescent navigation lights. With no bulb to replace and a fully sealed construction, the unit offers long service life with virtually no maintenance, making it ideal for both new installations and upgrades.
This model uses a coloured red lens, producing the port navigation light through a traditional lens-filter design. Many sailors prefer this style because the red and green navigation colours remain visible even when the lights are switched off, maintaining the familiar appearance of classic navigation lights.
HELLA also manufactures clear-lens versions where the navigation colour is generated directly by the LED. Both designs provide identical certified visibility and sector performance. The coloured-lens versions are generally the most widely available and are typically easier to source from stock than the clear-lens alternatives.
This version is supplied with a 2.5m pre-wired cable, making it well suited to installations where a longer cable run is required between the light and the vessel’s electrical system. The light is available with either a black or white shroud, allowing it to blend neatly with different deck or hull finishes.
