The Ronstan Series 75 Triple Ratchet Block with Becket & Cleat (RF72330) is a powerful, cockpit-controlled block designed for high-load mainsheet systems on sports boats and keelboats up to 12m (40ft).
Built around a 75mm sheave and optimised for lines up to 12mm, this block delivers excellent grip and control thanks to its integrated ratchet sheave. The ratchet reduces the load on the crew when trimming, while the becket provides a secure line termination point and the integrated cam cleat allows fast, reliable locking and release directly from the helm.
With a Safe Working Load of 685kg, this block is typically used as the lower control block in a mainsheet system. When paired with the Ronstan Series 75 Triple Block (RF70300), it forms a complete single-speed 6:1 mainsheet purchase system. In this configuration, the overall system Safe Working Load is limited to 685kg, defined by this lower ratchet block.
Constructed using Ronstan’s proven Series 75 design, it features acetal ball bearings for smooth running, anodised aluminium cheeks for strength and durability, and a Torlon® ratchet pawl for long-term reliability under repeated load cycles.
When fitting to traveller cars, ensure adequate support for the bottom block and use a stand-up spring kit (RF324-2) for correct alignment and optimal performance.
