Polyform Norway A5 Fender
The Polyform Norway A5 Fender is one of the larger models in the Original Polyform A-Series, combining substantial hull protection with the rugged construction required for commercial and heavy-duty buoy applications.
Manufactured in Norway by Polyform, originators of the modern inflatable plastic buoy, the A5 is produced from Polyform's tough, flexible vinyl material. Its reinforced ropehold is integrated with the body using Polyform's in-house developed WELCOTEC rotomoulding technology to create a strong and dependable attachment point.
The A5 measures 940mm overall height x 710mm maximum diameter, with a gross volume of 215 litres and recommended maximum load of 129 kg. Its large diameter provides substantial cushioning and stand-off, making it particularly suited to larger yachts and vessels where a conventional cylindrical fender may not provide sufficient protection.
The combination of a large inflatable body and heavy-duty ropehold also makes the A5 suitable for demanding commercial applications. Across the A-Series these include commercial fishing, net buoys, long lines, lobster and crab pots and marker buoy applications.
The Polyform Norway A5 Fender is available in four colours – Blue, Black, Red and White, providing a choice to complement a vessel when used for fendering or maximise visibility when used as a buoy.
