Polyform Norway A4 Fender
The Polyform Norway A4 Fender is a large, heavy-duty model in the Original Polyform A-Series, designed for substantial yacht fendering as well as demanding commercial and buoy applications.
Manufactured in Norway by Polyform, originators of the modern inflatable plastic buoy, the A-Series combines a tough, flexible vinyl body with a reinforced ropehold integrated using Polyform's in-house developed WELCOTEC rotomoulding technology.
The A4 measures 710mm overall height x 550mm maximum diameter, with a gross volume of 90 litres and recommended maximum load of 54 kg. Its substantial diameter provides a generous stand-off between hull and pontoon, quay or neighbouring vessel, making it particularly useful where greater fender protection is required.
The reinforced ropehold provides a strong attachment point for secure rigging, while the inflatable construction combines significant cushioning with the durability required for regular marine use.
Beyond yacht fendering, the A-Series is widely used in commercial fishing and other marine applications including net buoys, long lines, lobster and crab pots and marker buoys.
The Polyform Norway A4 Fender is available in four colours – Blue, Black, Red and White, allowing it to be matched to your boat or selected for visibility when used as a buoy.
