Polyform Norway A1 Fender
The Polyform Norway A1 Fender is a compact model in the Original Polyform A-Series – the distinctive round, heavy-duty fenders and buoys that have become a familiar sight in marinas and harbours around the world.
Manufactured in Norway by Polyform, originators of the modern inflatable plastic buoy, the A-Series is designed for demanding marine use where a tough and dependable fender or buoy is required. The A1 is manufactured from Polyform's tough, flexible vinyl material, with a reinforced ropehold integrated into the body using Polyform's in-house developed WELCOTEC rotomoulding technology.
The A1 measures 380mm overall height x 295mm maximum diameter, with a gross volume of 13.0 litres and recommended maximum load of 7.8 kg. Its compact dimensions make it particularly suitable for smaller leisure craft, while its heavy-duty construction also makes it suitable for a wide variety of buoy applications.
The reinforced ropehold provides a strong and secure attachment point, while Polyform's all-plastic non-return valve provides straightforward inflation and dependable performance in the marine environment.
The A-Series is widely used for both leisure and commercial marine applications, including boat fendering, commercial fishing, net buoys, long lines, lobster and crab pots and general marker buoy applications.
The Polyform Norway A1 Fender is available in four colours – Blue, Black, Red and White, allowing it to be matched to your boat when used as a fender or selected for visibility when used as a buoy.
