Harken Black Electronic Switch — Single-Function, Guard Top

The Harken Black Electronic Switch — Single-Function, Guard Top (BRS104/P) is a compact, waterproof analogue remote switch for controlling Harken electric and hydraulic winches. Its relatively shallow surface-mount design makes it the simplest and most economical of Harken's three analogue switch options, while the raised guard helps protect the button against accidental operation.

New Harken electric Radial, Performa and captive winches are supplied with the appropriate dual-function control box. To complete an electric winch installation, a correctly rated circuit breaker and suitable control switches must be ordered separately.

For a two-speed electric winch using analogue controls, two BRS104/P switches are required – one for each winch speed. Alternatively, the two analogue switches can be replaced by a single Harken dual-function Digital System Switch.

The dual-function control box supports either analogue switches or a Digital System Switch; analogue and digital switches should not be mixed on the same control box.

Compact Surface-Mount Control

The BRS104/P is particularly suited to installations where a straightforward, compact push-button control is required. Its waterproof construction is designed for exposed marine environments, while the guard surrounding the button reduces the likelihood of unintended winch activation.

Compared with Harken's BRS102/P and BRS102/S switches, the BRS104/P uses a more compact surface-mount arrangement, making it an attractive choice where the more substantial 102-Series switch construction is not required.

Please note: supplied as one switch. Two analogue switches are required for a two-speed Harken electric winch. The appropriate circuit breaker and other required electrical components are ordered separately.
