Purchase systems for Code zero's and Asymmetric spinnakers have a couple of common purposes. 2:1 Halyards which provide excellent fine tune of halyard / luff tension particularly on Code Zeros. 2:1 or 3:1 purchases under the drum which are also used to luff tension and are an essential component when using a halyard lock. These 2:1 and 3:1 purchases are matched to the furling system SWL.
