Based on Antal’s twin-speed concept, the system operates with two independent control lines: a 10 mm line for the primary 6:1 purchase and a 6 mm line for the 18:1 fine-tune system. This configuration improves efficiency, reduces the overall sheet length required, and allows intuitive control across a wide range of sailing conditions.

System Configuration

This complete mainsheet system consists of three specialised components:

• Lower Block:
  Heavy-duty block with twin inline sheaves and two independent cam cleats, allowing separate control of the 6:1 and 18:1 systems from a single compact unit.
• Boom Block:
  A triple block (Ø60 mm sheaves) mounted on the boom, providing the primary reeving for the 6:1 system and ensuring smooth load distribution.
• Fine-Tune Block:
  A single web block (Ø34 mm) with becket, spliced into the fine-tune line. This creates an additional 3:1 purchase on the 6:1 system, resulting in a total 18:1 fine-tune ratio.
