Antal Deck Organiser – 2 Sheaves D50
The Antal D520 Deck Organiser is designed to provide smooth, efficient routing of control lines from the mast base to rope clutches, helping to create a cleaner deck layout and improve the efficiency of onboard rope handling systems. Ideal for larger cruising and performance sailing yachts, it allows heavily loaded lines to be led aft with minimal friction and excellent line control.
Unlike clutch organisers, which are positioned behind rope clutches to redirect loaded lines towards a winch, Antal Deck Organisers are installed ahead of the clutch bank and are optimised for guiding lines cleanly across the deck. Their low-friction design reduces rope wear and contributes to smoother sail handling under load.
The D520 features two high-strength resin sheaves running on double-sided ball bearings, delivering exceptionally smooth rotation and efficient load transfer. The larger 50mm sheave diameter provides improved support for larger ropes and reduces bending loads compared to smaller organisers, making it particularly well suited to yachts using running rigging up to 16mm diameter.
Each sheave is rated to a Safe Working Load of 1200kg, offering a substantial increase in load capacity over the D40 range. This makes the D520 suitable for more heavily loaded halyards, reefing systems and sail controls found on larger sailing yachts.
As with all organisers in the Antal range, the D520 features a modular, stackable design, allowing multiple organisers to be combined to create larger rope management systems. The assembly also remains secure when mounting hardware is removed, simplifying installation and maintenance. Supplied complete with mounting screws, nuts and washers, it provides a durable and practical solution for modern deck layouts.
