Providing 170N buoyancy, the Deckvest LITE+ offers reliable performance in the water while maintaining a lightweight and ergonomic fit that encourages regular wear. The LITE+ incorporates an integrated ISO-approved deck harness with a soft loop safety line attachment point, allowing secure connection to a tether when required. This added functionality makes the LITE+ a practical safety solution for sailors who want the reassurance of harness connectivity without the bulk of larger offshore lifejackets.

Automatic inflation is provided by the UML Mk5 inflator system. This water-sensitive mechanism uses a compressed capsule that dissolves when submerged, releasing a spring that punctures the 33g CO₂ cylinder and inflates the lifejacket. The inflator is designed so that only water flowing upwards into the unit will activate it, preventing accidental inflation from rain or spray running down the jacket.

Comfort and ease of use are central to the Deckvest LITE+ design. The jacket features easy side donning and a structured fit that ensures it sits correctly every time it is worn. Durable honeycomb ripstop outer fabric protects the internal components while maintaining a lightweight construction, and a neoprene neck panel provides additional comfort during extended wear.

Additional practical details include a single crotch strap with a recessed clip to minimise snagging, tidy webbing strap management, and subtle reflective panel details to improve visibility in low light. An attachment point for a kill cord or VHF leash further enhances its suitability for small boats and performance sailing.

The Deckvest LITE+ 170N is available in two colour options — Sun Yellow and Black. Through Spinlock’s Through Life Support (TLS) registration programme, the lifejacket also benefits from an extended warranty of up to five years.
