Spinlock Deckvest LITE Lifejacket – 170N

The Spinlock Deckvest LITE 170N is a compact, lightweight inflatable lifejacket designed for a wide range of watersports and boating activities. With its low-profile design, durable construction, and bright colour options, it is ideal for sailing yachts, RIBs, powerboats, fishing, angling, kayaking, and general watersports where comfort and freedom of movement are essential.

Delivering 170N buoyancy, the Deckvest LITE provides reliable flotation in an emergency while remaining comfortable enough for all-day wear. The lightweight, low-profile design sits neatly around the body and allows excellent mobility on deck or around the cockpit, making it particularly well suited to active use.

The lifejacket features an automatic inflation system using the UML Mk5 inflator. This water-sensitive system uses a compressed capsule that dissolves when submerged, releasing a spring mechanism that punctures the 33g CO₂ cylinder and inflates the bladder. The inflator is designed so that only water flowing upwards into the mechanism will activate the system, meaning rain, spray, or water running down the jacket will not cause accidental inflation.

Designed for simplicity and comfort, the Deckvest LITE features easy side donning and a structured fit that ensures the lifejacket sits correctly every time it is worn. The durable honeycomb ripstop outer fabric protects the internal components while keeping the jacket lightweight. A neoprene neck panel improves comfort against the skin during extended wear.

Practical details include a single crotch strap with a recessed clip to reduce the risk of snagging, tidy webbing management to prevent loose straps, and muted reflective panel details for improved visibility. An attachment point for a kill cord or VHF leash also makes the lifejacket particularly suitable for small craft and powerboat use.

The Deckvest LITE is available in five distinctive colour options — Bleach White, Flow Green, Pacific Blue, Seagrass Green, and Black — allowing users to choose a style that suits their boat or personal preference.

Through Spinlock’s Through Life Support (TLS) registration programme, the Deckvest LITE can benefit from an extended product warranty of up to five years.
