The Antal D740 Deck Organiser is the largest and highest-capacity organiser in the Antal range, designed for routing heavily loaded control lines on large cruising yachts, offshore yachts and high-performance sailing yachts. Built to handle substantial running rigging loads while maintaining smooth rope handling, it provides an efficient and reliable method of leading lines from the mast base to rope clutches.
Unlike clutch organisers, which are installed behind rope clutches to redirect loaded lines towards a winch, Antal Deck Organisers are positioned ahead of the clutch bank and are specifically designed to guide lines cleanly across the deck. By maintaining proper line alignment and minimising friction, they help improve sail handling efficiency while reducing wear on ropes and deck hardware.
The D740 features four large 70mm aluminium sheaves with a hard black anodised finish for exceptional strength, durability and corrosion resistance. Each sheave runs on a composite fibre main bearing supported by twin side ball bearings, combining outstanding load-carrying capacity with smooth, low-friction operation. The larger sheave diameter provides excellent support for modern low-stretch ropes while reducing bending loads, helping to maximise rope life and performance.
With a Safe Working Load of 3200kg per sheave and suitability for ropes up to 20mm diameter, the D740 is engineered for the most demanding running rigging applications, including highly loaded halyards, reefing systems, furling controls and other critical sail handling functions.
As with all organisers in the Antal range, the D740 features a modular, stackable design, allowing multiple organisers to be combined into larger rope management systems. The organiser remains fully assembled when mounting hardware is removed, simplifying installation and maintenance. Supplied complete with mounting screws, nuts and washers, it provides a robust and professional solution for modern deck layouts.
