MORFRAC powerfurl.[six] – Drum and Swivelhead (6t SWL)
The Morfrac powerfurl.[six] is the largest model in the Powerfurl range, built to handle serious loads for high-performance yachts in the 55–60+ foot class. With a Safe Working Load of 6 tonnes, it’s ideally suited for heavy-duty foresails such as Code 0s, staysails, and flying jibs on large monohulls or catamarans.
This furler exemplifies Morfrac’s focus on strength, precision, and dependability under extreme sailing loads. CNC-machined from aerospace-grade 6082 aluminium and hard-anodised for maximum corrosion resistance, the powerfurl.[six] features hybrid stainless steel and Torlon® bearings to ensure smooth furling performance under sustained tension.

Shackle Attachment (Drum and Swivel) – Equipped with forged stainless steel shackles on both ends, each certified to the full 6t SWL. This avoids the common issue seen with other furler brands where under-rated shackles compromise the system’s integrity—ensuring the entire unit maintains its full working load rating.
-
Mixed Fitting (Shackle + Lash) – One end features a lashing eye, the other a full-strength shackle. Ideal for sail or deck configurations requiring asymmetric rigging.
-
Double Lash Fittings – Lash eyelets on both the drum and swivelhead for all-textile setups, reducing weight and improving integration with high-performance rigging systems.
A full suite of accessories—including top-down adapters, terminal kits, and mounting hardware—is available separately to complete your configuration.
