These shackle connectors from Uni Maior are designed to be used on the halyard either as a 1:1 or 2:1. When used as a 1:1 system the halyard would be attached to the eye of the shackle, preferable as an eye splice; when used as a 2:1 system the eye of the shackle becomes a low friction sheave. The main body is built in aluminium (grade: 6082T6) with a stainless steel pin.
