Some products may result in higher shipping costs due to size or weight restrictions. This also applies to free shipping items.


Free shipping will automatically be applied to your cart when you have selected your delivery address and your order exceeds the minimum value.  Free Shipping will be via DHL Standard or an equivalent service.

Delivery Times

After we have transferred your parcel to our shipping partners, you can expect the following average delivery times:*

Europe  2 – 5 working days

For example, a shipment with DHL Standard to France would take around 4 working days

Rest of the world  3 - 5 working days

For example, a shipment to USA would take around 3 working days with DHL Express

*Please note that customs clearance or shipments to remote locations or islands can increase delivery time by 2-5 working days

Non-urgent, standard size packages are shipped by DHL throughout Europe.

DHL Express

Urgent, standard sized packages are shipped using DHL Express Worldwide.

UPS

Overlength and oversized packages are generally shipped via UPS.

TNT

For other type of packages such a custom shipping we use TNT company.

Taxes, Exports and Brexit


Our public product prices include statutory VAT at 19% which is applicable to deliveries within the EU.

For deliveries to non-EU countries, VAT is deducted at checkout. Import charges, customs duties, and public charges may apply in the country of destination. These costs are to be borne by the Customer. Upffront has no influence on these fees but may be able to provide guidance on request.


Deliveries to the United Kingdom are subject to 20% VAT instead of 19%. This adjustment is made during the checkout process when a UK delivery address is given. No additional Import VAT is due when you receive the package. However, in some rare cases, Import Duty may apply, based on the goods Country of Origen.


Note that if you are logged-in to your existing account with us, then the product prices you see will include the relevant tax depending on your saved delivery address. If no delivery address is given then the default VAT of 19% is applied until checkout.


Shipping FAQs

Who Is Responsible For Handling Taxes And Customs Duties When Shipping To A Non-EU Country, And Are There Any Considerations To Keep In Mind?

When importing the goods into the destination country, it is your responsibility to have the goods pass customs clearance. The amount of taxes and customs duties to be paid varies from country to country and depending on the type and value of the goods. Different countries also have different customs regulations. This means it is very hard to predict exactly what customs duties and local taxes will apply on a specific order.


Our shipping partners for non-EU deliveries are UPS and DHL Freight. Normally, they take care of the entire customs clearance process for you. In this case, you can just pay any fees directly to them. If UPS or DHL Freight do not offer this service in your chosen delivery country, you must import the goods yourself. For more information, please contact your local customs office.

Please note:

  • We can only refund VAT if you adhere to the steps described here.
  • VAT reimbursement is a voluntary service provided by upffront.com. No legal claim exists to this service.
  • VAT reimbursement is only possible on orders to Germany, Belgium, Italy, Austria, Denmark or the Netherlands. For the Netherlands, you have to follow a special procedure – please contact our partner in the Netherlands in advance.
  • It’s not possible to get a refund for VAT paid on shipping costs.
  • Upffront.com does not provide pre-filled customs clearance forms.
  • If your country is not available in the country selection dropdown when entering your billing address, please contact [email protected] to make your order.


1. General information on VAT refunds for goods exported in personal baggage

If your country of residence is a non-EU country, and you export the goods you purchased from us back to your country of residence, you can claim a VAT reimbursement. Your country of residence is the country where you are officially registered as living (as officially documented on your passport, ID document, or other documents required for border crossing). When ordering, your billing address must be located in this country, and your delivery address should differ from the billing address.


To get the VAT reimbursed, you must have proof that the goods were exported before the end of the third calendar month after you received them.

The goods are not officially considered as exported if:

The buyer has the goods exported by a shipping company, rail, postal company or other shipping agent.

The buyer does not transport the goods in their own baggage, but transports them in e.g. a lorry.


2. VAT refund on orders of goods delivered to an EU address (only for countries listed above)

After you have received the goods, at the customs office of the last EU country before leaving the EU border, get official stamped confirmation of: 1): the customs clearance of the exported goods specified in your receipt from upffront.com and 2): that your residence address stated on your Upffront.com receipt is consistent with your place of residence indicated in your passport or equivalent ID document. The stamped confirmation must state the place and date of the confirmation. Send the original upffront.com invoice with a customs stamp, and also your bank details (account number and account holder), to the following address:

Before sending the documents, please make copies for your own records. We will refund the VAT to the account you specify after the 30-day right of return has expired.

No. If you order for delivery to a UK delivery address you will be charged 20% UK VAT at checkout. We take care of the import process so that no additional Import VAT will be due on receipt of the package.

All of our deliveries are insured by the courier. If your package arrives with damage, please take pictures of any damage to the packaging or the products within. Please contact us as soon as possible with these pictures so that we can make a claim with the courier. We will let you know how to proceed in the event of a return.
