What is Dyneema® SK38?
Dyneema® SK38 is a modern, cost-effective HMPE (High Modulus Polyethylene) fibre that offers many of the benefits of Dyneema® technology — high strength, low stretch, and lightweight performance — at a lower price point. It has slightly higher stretch and lower tensile strength than higher-grade fibres such as SK78 or SK99, but still significantly outperforms traditional polyester ropes. This makes it an excellent choice for performance cruising yachts and club racers who want the performance advantages of Dyneema® without paying for elite race technology.
The DX Performance range is available in four bold colour options — blue, green, navy, and red — for easy line identification on board.
