Spinlock Deckvest Cento Junior Lifejacket – 100N

The Spinlock Deckvest Cento Junior 100N is a compact, lightweight inflatable lifejacket designed specifically for younger sailors and watersports users. Suitable for children weighing 20–50kg and typically aged between 8 and 15 years, the Cento combines Spinlock’s proven Deckvest design with a comfortable, low-profile fit that encourages children to wear their lifejacket at all times.

Delivering 100N buoyancy, the Cento sits within the 150N lifejacket category while maintaining a smaller and lighter design appropriate for junior users. The form-fitting shape and lightweight construction ensure excellent comfort and freedom of movement, making it suitable for sailing, boating, and general watersports activities where children need reliable flotation without bulky equipment.

The lifejacket features an integrated soft loop harness attachment point, allowing a safety line to be connected when required. A simple adjustable waist belt and structured fit help ensure the lifejacket sits securely on the body, while the single crotch strap keeps the jacket correctly positioned in the water.

Automatic inflation is provided by the UML Mk5 inflation system. This water-sensitive activation system uses a compressed paper capsule that dissolves when submerged, releasing a spring that punctures the 20g CO₂ cylinder and inflates the lifejacket. The design ensures reliable automatic deployment when needed while remaining simple and easy to maintain.

The Deckvest Cento Junior can also be enhanced with a range of optional safety accessories. It is compatible with the Spinlock Deckvest Cento sprayhood, the Pylon Light™ SOLAS-approved lifejacket light, and Lume-On™ bladder illumination lights. The lifejacket can also integrate with the Ocean Signal AIS MOB1 personal AIS beacon, allowing additional electronic man-overboard protection to be fitted.

Designed for ease of use and long-term reliability, the Cento features a lightweight adjustable belt and durable construction. Through Spinlock’s Through Life Support (TLS) registration programme, product registration extends the warranty to five years.
