Harken 29mm Carbo Air T2 Single Block
The Harken 29mm Carbo Air T2 Single Block is an ultra-lightweight soft-attach block designed for small control line systems where low friction and minimal weight are essential. As part of Harken’s Carbo Air T2 range, it features a composite construction that removes metal shackles and rivets, resulting in an extremely light yet strong block ideal for modern performance rigging.
The block is supplied with a length of high-strength lashing line, allowing sailors to splice, tie or lash it directly onto padeyes, deck fittings or rigging points. This soft-attachment method creates a very low-profile connection and allows the block to align naturally with the load, improving efficiency while reducing friction and unnecessary hardware weight.
The 29mm composite sheave runs on low-friction bearings and is suitable for lines up to 8mm. Despite weighing just 12g, the block offers a maximum working load of 150kg, making it ideal for lightweight control lines and compact rigging systems on dinghies and performance sailing yachts.
