With side cheeks made from Carbon and titanium/ceramic bearings this is a lightweight block which holds very high loads for the sheave diameter. The new updated design of the Karver KBR range avoids any possibility for the block to capsize. The rounded edges and closed structure also prevent crushing of the block and the enlarged central sheave diameter allows multiple lashings to be used.
