This range of standard pre-made spinnaker sheets has been designed to make replacing sail sheets on your boat quick and simple. They come in three standard colours: grey, navy blue and red.
This is a performance specification for a spinnaker sheet made from Gottifredi Maffioli Powersprint, which has an SK78 Dyneema® core with a durable polyester cover. At the cockpit end, it is finished with a Flemish eye and at the working end it has a covered eye splice plus a soft shackle, for connection to the clew of your sail.
This 8mm diameter x 20m long sheet is recommended for use as a spinnaker sheet on sail boats between 27 – 35 ft. However, due to variations in sail sizes and cockpit setups, we suggest you double check the appropriate length for your own boat.
We use the following formulae for spinnaker sheet length: 1.9 * Boat Length (LOA) It is better to have a sheet 2-3 m too long than too short!
N.B. Diameter recommendations are based on a medium displacement monohull. For heavy displacement boats and catamarans, you may need to go up a size in rope diameter.
