The Harken 57mm Carbo T2 Auto Ratchet Block is a high-performance solution for sailors who demand minimal weight and maximum versatility. Featuring Harken’s patented Ratchamatic® technology, the block automatically engages the ratchet under load, providing smooth transitions between free-running and holding modes without manual adjustment.
Part of the T2 soft-attach range, this block is built with composite fibre-reinforced sideplates, a hardcoat-anodised aluminium sheave, and a minimalist ratchet mechanism, resulting in an incredibly light yet strong block. It lashes or splices directly through its load-bearing centre, reducing sideplate stress and allowing for precise mounting height and alignment.
Ideal for mainsheet and spinnaker systems on dinghies, beachcats, and sportboats, the T2 Auto Ratchet offers 10:1 holding power, making it particularly effective in medium to light air. A length of Spectra® line with polyester cover is included for easy installation. High-contrast directional markers ensure correct line orientation for optimal performance.
