The Harken 57mm Carbo T2 Auto Ratchet Block – 2x Grip offers the highest holding force in Harken’s Power3 series, delivering 20:1 holding power for uncompromising control in big breeze or steady conditions. Designed for performance dinghies, beachcats, and sportboats, this block excels in mainsheet and spinnaker applications where high line loads demand secure, low-fatigue handling.
Part of the innovative T2 Ratchamatic® range, it features automatic engagement—the ratchet switches on under load and disengages when unloaded for seamless transitions during manoeuvres. Built with composite fibre-reinforced sideplates, a hardcoat-anodised aluminium sheave, and a soft-attach lashing system, it combines strength, minimal weight, and precise rigging flexibility.
The block is lashed through its load-bearing centre, reducing strain on the sideplates and offering a safety backup. It also allows for custom positioning close to the deck, optimising lead angles. High-contrast directional markers aid correct reeving and trimming, and each block comes with a length of Spectra® line with polyester cover for secure attachment.
