It is class legal for any event that allows electronic compasses, and it has a large, high-contrast display that shows the heading in degrees.
The Prism has a solar charging system that keeps it powered for long races, and a USB port for backup charging. The device also indicates the battery level and has a fast refresh rate for smooth readings.
