Antal Removable Pad Eye – 8mm
The Antal Removable Pad Eye – 8mm provides the same secure attachment as a fixed padeye but can be removed when not needed, keeping decks clear and safe. Made from 316 stainless steel, it has a Safe Working Load (SWL) of 1,500 kg, making it suitable for medium-duty applications.
Using Antal’s two-part design, a recessed socket is permanently mounted to the deck while the padeye itself can be slotted in or taken out in seconds. When removed, only the flush socket remains, leaving no protruding fittings to snag ropes or feet.
Compared to the Standard Padeye, the Removable Padeye is ideal for boats where fittings are used occasionally, or for racing yachts where deck efficiency and safety are paramount.
