Antal U-Bolt – 5mm
The Antal U-Bolt – 5mm is a simple, cost-effective deck fitting designed for light-duty attachment points on smaller boats. Manufactured from 316 stainless steel, it provides corrosion resistance and long-term durability in the marine environment. With a Safe Working Load (SWL) of 500 kg, it is suited to securing control lines, lashings, or small blocks where loads are modest.
Unlike Antal’s Standard Padeyes, which from 8mm upwards use four fixing bolts to distribute higher loads, U-Bolts are secured with only two fixing points. This makes them lighter and more economical but less effective at spreading load into the deck structure. Where deck space and budget are critical, they provide a practical solution, but for higher load applications a Standard Padeye is the preferred option.
