The Tylaska SS20 Shackles come with a unique ID and a certificate which allows them to be used for personnel lifting applications in accordance with OSHA Rule 1926.1431(g)(1)(i)(A) and 1926.1501(g)(4)(iv)(B). With 100% 17-4PH stainless steel components, every shackle is proof tested to five times the Safe Working Load (SWL) limit and fatigue rated at three times working load and 20,000 cycles. This shackle is used extensively in commercial applications but also for superyacht safety rail systems. There are two versions, standard bail and clevis bail. However the clevis bail is less common, as it cannot be used where there is any possibility of side / off-angle loading of the shackle.
