The 4 Hole transom mounted pintle is one of the most common and used transom fittings around. The fitting has 4 5mm countersunk fixing holes for attaching to the back of the boat. The pin is made from 316 stainless steel and is made to fit snugly with our gudgeon ranges. The pintle pin has a cross hole drilled so that an r clip or split ring can be used to secure the rudder on to the transom fittings. Packing pieces are available to increase the distance that the fitting sits off the back of the boat. The part number for this is 18.54
