Ronstan's range of continuous line furling systems puts great performance and reliability within the reach of cruising and racing sailors alike. The top-down adapter can be used in conjunction with the Series 280 standard furlers and top swivels to create a top-down furling system. The tack of the sail is attached to the floating swivel collar of the adapter and its head to the top swivel. Furling begins at the top of the sail and progresses down to the tack. Designed to work with standard furler RS280000, it is rated to 16,000kg NBL. N.B. Maximum Working Load (MWL) on the tack ring swivel is 5,000kg.
