The Karver block can be used for 2:1 or 3:1 purchase system on the base of the drum or a 2:1 purchase on the halyard.
The 3:1 end can be lashed through the centre of the sheave with the roller bearing sheave providing low friction, high load, fine tune control of luff tension.
The advantage of this addition to the standard set-up is reduced weight whilst hoisting and better tension on the stay.
THIS PRODUCT IS SOLD AS AN INDIVIDUAL PART TO BE INSTALLED ON YOUR EXISTING KARVER KF V3 SWIVEL. If you are buying a new swivel, you should chose the 2:1 block product which is sold as an upgrade to the standard swivel
