Harken 57mm Low Load Block – Black Magic Air (3226)

The Harken 57mm Low Load Block (3226) is part of the renowned Black Magic® Air series, designed for big boat sail control systems where smooth performance and weight savings are key, but full high-load specs aren’t required. Ideal for less demanding lines within mainsheet, runner, halyard, or spinnaker systems, it offers all the hallmark efficiency of the Black Magic range in a lighter-duty configuration.
Internally, the block features Torlon® roller bearings set within a precision centre cage, keeping them separated and aligned to minimise friction. Unlike the standard high-load versions, this block uses red isolators and a 316 stainless steel shackle, marking it clearly as a low-load variant. The sheaves and sideplates are Hard Lube-anodised, ensuring excellent UV protection and long-lasting durability.
Its shackle head can be locked in two positions or left to swivel, allowing for adaptable rigging configurations while reducing line twist.
