The Spinlock Wireless Load-Sense is an ideal tool for riggers, sailmakers and boat skippers alike for establishing real load data in order to fine tune performance / durability of all deck hardware and rigging. If gear is over-specified it is heavier than necessary but if it is under-specified it will not last as long as manufacturer’s recommendations and may be unsafe. The Load-Sense is ultra-compact and designed to be quickly attached between any two load points, normally using a short fibre loop/strop. The calibrated unit measures continuous real time ‘Actual’ load and ‘Peak’ load, with a trend graph, and is accurate to 0.2%. Load-Sense is rated to IP67 with protection against short term immersion in water. The 5T Load-Sense has a SWL of 5 tons. Data is transferred directly to a mobile device such as a smartphone, tablet or PC and used in conjunction with the Load-Sense Wireless App. - available free of charge for IOS or Android. The Wireless App Controls the Wireless Load-Sense unit and displays & records data. It allows tagging of the application detail, Geo location, test conditions and adding of images and sharing/ exporting data for later analysis.
