The advantage of a dogbone over a knot or a lashing is that they never bind and are quick and easy to release. This anodised aluminium dogbone has been specificaly designed to be spliced onto some 10-12mm single braid to create your own rope shackles / strops which can be used for a whole variety of purposes.
