Built from hard black anodised aluminium with stainless steel side plates, the car runs on four rows of Torlon® and Delrin® ball bearings, ensuring effortless movement under load. With a Safe Working Load (SWL) of 820 kg, it is well suited to smaller performance yachts.
This model is equipped for a 3:1 control system. One end of the car carries a becket, while the opposite end is fitted with a becket and a 35 mm control sheave. This layout allows the control line to be reeved for a compact 3:1 purchase, significantly reducing trimming effort and giving fine control over lead adjustments. A 45 mm sheet sheave provides a smooth and reliable lead for the genoa sheet.
