Antal 4Race 190 Traveller Car – 5:1 Control (Part No. 4195)
The Antal 4Race 190 Traveller Car – 5:1 Control is engineered for yachts in the 42–48 ft range, running on the 31x21 mm 4Race track. It is designed to work with the Antal 4Race 150–190 End Control – Triple Sheave (4276) to form a 5:1 purchase traveller system, giving maximum power for effortless and precise traveller adjustment under the high loads typical of larger yachts.
Each end of the car is equipped with two 35 mm sheaves and a central becket. In a standard 5:1 setup, the control line dead-ends on the becket at the car, passes through the triple sheave on the end control, returns to one of the car’s sheaves, goes forward to the second sheave on the end control, returns to the second car sheave, and finally runs forward to the third sheave on the end control before exiting via the cam cleat. This sequence provides smooth handling and optimised load distribution.
The car is also compatible with the Antal OPF 100 Single Block (not included), offering a robust, low-profile, and shackle-free connection to the mainsheet or other systems.
Manufactured from hard anodised aluminium for exceptional durability and corrosion resistance, the 4Race 190 Traveller Car runs on four independent ball bearing circuits — two Torlon® (lower) for maximum load capacity and two Delrin® (upper) for smooth movement. Side windows provide easy access for bearing cleaning, inspection, or replacement.
