The Harken 57mm Carbo T2 Double Block is an exceptionally light, versatile solution for modern soft-attach rigging. With no metal shackles or rivets, and a fully composite build, it’s one of the lightest double blocks Harken has ever produced. Designed for traveller controls, mainsheets, vangs, bridles, and cascades, it excels in applications where performance and weight savings are paramount.
The block’s integrated composite line guides help prevent capsizing by directing the lashing line to the outer edges of the sideplates for maximum stability. The composite sheaves run smoothly on Delrin® ball bearings with curved races for efficient, low-friction movement under load.
Like all T2 blocks, it features a central lashing path through the block head and sheave, which reduces stress on the sideplates and provides a built-in safety backup. A length of Spectra® line is included for easy attachment.
