The Tylaska T8 Martin Breaker is a mid-size model in the Martin Breaker range, engineered for yachts in the 24–36 ft size bracket. Combining the renowned strength of 17-4 PH stainless steel with a remote-release trigger system, the T8 delivers dependable performance for both racing and short-handed sailing.
Like all Martin Breakers, the T8 is fitted with a Dyneema® release cord that allows the shackle to be tripped remotely, even under full working load. This makes it especially valuable for spinnaker takedowns, where the tack line can be released instantly from the cockpit rather than requiring a bow crew to spike the shackle manually. The result is safer manoeuvres, faster drops, and less risk of error in demanding conditions.
