Antal 4Race 190 Outhaul Car 2:1
The Antal 4Race 190 Outhaul Car 2:1 is designed for yachts from 42–48 ft, offering a more efficient clew adjustment system than the standard 1:1 version. Built on the robust 4Race track platform, it integrates a forward becket and aft sheave to create a compact 2:1 outhaul purchase, reducing trimming loads and giving sailors greater control over mainsail shape.
With a Safe Working Load (SWL) of 1900 kg, the car is engineered to handle demanding outhaul loads on medium-size yachts. The body is machined from hard black anodised aluminium with stainless steel side plates, while four rows of Torlon® and Delrin® ball bearings ensure smooth, low-friction travel under load.
In use, the outhaul line is dead-ended on the forward becket, led through a block at the mainsail clew, returned to the ball-bearing sheave at the aft end of the car, and then runs back along the boom. This arrangement halves the trimming effort while taking full advantage of the car’s low-friction performance.
As part of the 4Race system, the car is designed to run on the 31×21 mm 4Race track (Antal ref: 4510), together with end stops ref: 4271/B, ensuring perfect system integration.
