Antal Removable Pad Eye – 6mm
The Antal Removable Pad Eye – 6mm offers the same strength and reliability as a fixed padeye but with the added advantage of being detachable when not required. Manufactured from 316 stainless steel, it provides a secure attachment point with a Safe Working Load (SWL) of 800 kg, while allowing a clean, obstruction-free deck when removed.
This removable system is based on a two-part design: a recessed deck socket permanently installed in the structure, and a detachable padeye that can be slotted in or removed in seconds. When the padeye is taken out, only the flush-fitting deck socket remains, eliminating potential snags and preserving a sleek deck profile.
Compared to the traditional Standard Padeye, the Removable Padeye is particularly beneficial on performance yachts or multi-purpose deck layouts where fittings are only needed in certain conditions, or where reducing trip hazards and clutter is a priority.
